My Pain
It hurts me so to love you,
I wonder if it hurts you too.
Your jaded smile and gentle words,
Only hurt me even worse.
I've only barely healed this heart,
now its broken, smashed and scattered.
I don't know why i love you so,
It's like a blunt knife through my heart and soul.
If what we have is so futile,
Why does it seem to be worth my while?
But when i see your happy smile,
It makes the pain more bearable.

I love you, even though you don't return the feelings.. i guess you have bigger responsibilities than to love a silly boy.
